The Rashi of Mithuna (Sign of Gemini)

The Sun is now transiting through the sign of Gemini,                       the third sign of the zodiac. Gemini’s symbol and typical meaning is the twins, but more thoroughly it represents a pair, union, and junction of the female and male (yin-yang) mental and intellectual impulses forming the ego. It is also the meeting of Spirit and Matter, the universal/collective consciousness and the material reality of this world. Under the influence of Gemini, one may be elusive, highly drawn to intellectual pursuits, and always in a hurry or feeling rushed.

Gemini is a mutable air sign ruled by Mercury. Ascendant in Gemini indicates one has an airy appearance: tall, thin, dry skin, thin hair, or fair; is very intellectual or into technology, and has a mind that easily fluctuates and ideas that keep changing. Sun in Gemini indicates a deeper yearning to understand the workings of life, but Gemini’s materialistic approach and continual quest for ever higher mental satisfaction usually only leads to discontentment and instability. Moon in Gemini indicates a dual-natured personality and emotional fluctuations. With this emotional and mental flip-flopping, Geminis can be difficult to get to know, even to themselves.

Being a Gemini, I can relate to most of that written in it. Beautiful. 🙂
