Tarot Tuesday

Rider Waite Tarot

Reminder of  Tarot Tuesday ChangesAfter today and next Tuesday (because these queries were already submitted in January before the changes) the Tarot Tuesday format beginning in March will be: On the first Tuesday of each month, I will offer up to 5 free one-card tarot readings. If you are interested, you can contact me privately from the contact form here. Let me know if there is a specific question or area of life you’d like me to focus on. If not that is fine too. Readings will be scheduled in the order received. I will respect your privacy and only use a first name initial in the post.

Here are this week’s queries, spreads, and readings:

From T: What work will I be doing and when will it happen?

The Hierophant, Two of Cups, Five of Swords

Whatever work you do, it should be in tune with your soul, and likely to be spiritual work. Teaching, advising, preaching, or counseling are indicated by the Hierophant. Working with someone closely as a team or as business partners or in partnership with an organization is shown. It will happen (I feel it is at least already energetically in the works) when this partnership comes together and when you are ready to let go of ideas and mindsets that may prevent this from happening. Work with or as a community, not alone.

From L: My book and career.  How will it manifest?  Will the finished book bring about enough success and abundance to create a living/career.  Do the cards say anything about how long it will take me to finish the book or the publishing process?

Five of Cups, Justice, Page of Pentacles

The process will be slow for a while. You will have to re-work and re-write, and also face some disappointment from publisher and agent queries. But do stick it out; you will find harmony in the process. When you are fully aware of your Truth, it will begin to move forward, possibly by taking matters into your own hands and self-publishing. I feel it may take six months to a year before things really get moving. The Page indicates a new source of income, but likely a small amount (at least at first).

From P: What career path should I pursue? By that I mean to make money.

Knight of Swords (reversed), Ten of Pentacles, Six of Pentacles

The first two cards are strongly saying you need to stop the pursuit. It’s almost as if by looking too hard, you won’t find anything. It is also possible that you are already doing what would be the right career for you now, but you may not see it that way, or it may be something you are doing as a volunteer at the moment. The Six of Pentacles indicates both success and also a career in service or helping others in need.  The Ten of Swords also gave me the flash of hospice work as a possibility.

  1. you’re readings are great… hoping to be at your level one of these days.
interesting to see how well you work in all three cards for your overall answer. you’re amaze balls if we may say so. ok. we just said it. 🙂
    o and om

  2. Thanking you! Not surprised. The writing process can be a lot of reworking….and I’m prepared for some turn downs… ‘The Help’ was turned down something like 31 times before it was published. Self publishing does not speak to me, but I’m up for finding the right publisher. :). I wonder if the small money is from article submissions….that would be AWESOME!

    Thanks again!

  3. Theresa says:

Thank you, Julianne. Patient trust in the process…
