  1. Is there only one kind of intuition within the human anatomy? For instance, many highly effective criminals -who give no mind to spiritual matters- possess good intuition. Some teachers claim that this intuition is associated with their solar chakra, whereas the crown chakra allows for a more developed form of intuition. What do you think?

Julianne, I also like your approach to implementing our passions into our life, such as writing. In my experience, one of the best ways to establish writing as a regular part of our week is to make into a routine. Such as devoting 20 minutes a day after morning meditation & yoga practice. To avoid writer’s block, it’s always a good idea to have on hand a large number of open ended questions or apply free association, which is to simply write or type anything that comes to mind. Sometime I get stuck with this later practice but it’s only a matter of digging into the stagnation with more questions like: Why am I unable to write? Is there something preventing me from forming new thoughts? Is there a way to go around this gap? Can I build a bridge over this emptiness? Is there something within the emptiness of this time that I need to sit with… and so forth. Usually before I get 2 or 3 questions into my mental block then something pops up and then I’m ready to engage the flow. Always a good idea to avoid getting too attached to sentence structure during the first round of writing; being overly perfect with spelling and grammar can impede on the flow of creative writing. Anywho, I feel as though I am preaching to the choir.

    Keep up the good work!

    • Hi Jason, I like how you phrased the question: Is there only one kind of intuition within the human anatomy? I would say, for the most part, intuition is not in the human anatomy. It is not of the physical body-mind, because it is non-physical. The body-mind is a receptor and conductor of intuition, which is, to me at least, picking up on vibrations and energy in various ways: clairvoyance, clairsentience, etc. I don’t think it is necessary to be spiritual or have a spiritual practice or belief system to be intuitive, since everyone has the potential, but a spiritual practice can help open up and develop intuition. So, highly effective criminals may have natural intuitive awareness but they may also be trusting their instinct too. That is probably why they are so effective – naturally developed intuition without the spiritual awareness, or morals/ethics, to see the harm they are doing to others and themselves.

For me instinct is not the same as intuition, though I see many who say they are highly intuitive interchange these terms. Instinct is in the physical body-mind. “Gut-feeling” is instinct and usually not intuition (unless someone is intuitive/empathic and picking up someone’s else abdominal issues that way, for example). Instinct is wired into our brains, which are of the body-mind, and is used for survival needs (often based on the fear vs pleasure scale). However, instinct can work with intuition, increasing our senses for survival purposes.

As for the chakras, I’ve never associated any single one with intuition personally, though the 6th/Ajna/3rdEye/Brow chakra is the one for intuition and “seeing”.

I put a poll up a few weeks ago for video ideas, and the most voted for topic was intuition, so I may talk about this more in depth soon!

I like your approach to writing! I need to take your advice here because I tend to want the sentence structure and then the paragraph flow to be perfect before moving on to the next. 🙂

      Thank you and Namaste _/l\_
