I admire animals’ ability and ease in picking up on very subtle energies and vibrations, not just the energies and vibrations of humans and other animals, but those of all of Nature and the spirit realm. One of my Alaskan Malamutes recently surprised me when she suddenly got up from a nap to specifically look out the window at something in the sky. As she looked, she was almost mesmerized, so I got up to see what magical thing it was that drew her away from her slumber. Far off in the distance I saw a single sea gull dancing soundlessly against the clear blue sky. It was almost as if it was performing for us. We watched for a few minutes before the sea gull took a bow and left to head back across the peaks towards the ocean.
Birds in general are messengers of Spirit and the spirit realm. Sea Gulls in particular symbolize:
- Communication with Angels and Deities
- Ability to view things from a higher perspective
- Responsibility
- Friendship
Synchronistically, I had recently begun to talk to, pray to, and communicate with a few of the Archangels, and feel that this was a message from the angels letting me know that they hear my thoughts and words and are there for me like good friends. The next morning when I got up I discovered a feather in my room. Finding random feathers symbolizes:
- Being on a higher spiritual path
- Higher awareness
- Truth
- Lightness
- Ascension
- Prayers
Thank you angels and spirit guides! Fly…
I always spent my half an hour to read this
psychic website’s articles or reviews every day along with a mug
of coffee.

Reblogged this on the art of life and commented:
Seagull, you fly across the horizon
Into the misty mornin’ sun
Nobody asks you where you are going
Nobody knows where you’re from

Thanks! 🙂
I see seagulls all the time and I live 30 min away from the beach. I guess this is normal. I had a june bug fly in my house everyday at the same time for about 2 weeks last year. A humming bird flew right in front of my face the other day and took off. I am reading Ted Andrews “Animal Speak” now. He has a whole chapter on bird medicine. I took one on my feathers, given to me by a native american, and used it with reiki on my doggies. i just ‘winged’ it. 🙂
How beautiful Julianne and I had just doe a post on my seagull experience ! I am always transfixed by birds here..40 different types and seems a new one all the time is added to my list….so I am always finding feathers..i fly with them some days…up there I think perspective is realigned and you feel your problems are so small 🙂 thankyou for this lovely post 🙂 bev x
Thanks Bev! Keep flying and soaring! 🙂
I will Julianne…:) have started having some funky dreams again …funny I miss them when I don’t have them haha 🙂
Amen!
🙂
Made me think of Richard Bach. 🙂
Thanks! I was not familiar with him so looked him up! 🙂
I think you would like his books. Although “Jonathan Livingston Seagull” is his most popular book, I personally found “Illusions” to be better and more spiritually inspiring.
Thank you. I’ll add it to my (ever-growing) 🙂 book list.
Love this! Talk about synchronicity… wait until you see my Photo Friday this week! 😉 and a feather appeared on me yesterday! I noticed it at my desk in the office …never alone… Thank you for spreading the love and excitement. 🙂
Thank you Renate! Looking forward to Photo Friday! Have a lovely week. 🙂
That is so cool… Not to diminish this one, but I have to look and see if you’ve done one on chickens. 😉
Haha, no no chicken post yet. I usually wait until something appears in my life, either physically or I keep coming across it in reading, etc. What might happen now that you’ve asked, as often happens, is I may run into chicken posts or people talking about chickens. We’ll see…. 🙂
🙂
I see quite a few hawks on our motorcycle rides, both soaring and perching. I always try to pinpoint what it is I am thinking/feeling when we connect… they are very special to me. Funny you should say that about Archangels. I just hosted some for a week about a month ago. It was lovely to bask in their energy and listen to their guidance.
Lovely! I wrote a post on Hawks a few months ago. Look through the “Animal Spirits” category.
What a great story Julie. You are indeed blessed. I get a feeling that is indescribable upon a bird visitation. I am happy for you!!
xx Linda
Thanks Linda. I hope it means my prayers are being answered! 🙂 Have a lovely evening!
Very interesting, I didn’t know.
